The Water Damage Restoration Process

It's the water you don't see that can cause the most damage.  When your home or business is flooded with rain water or a broken pipe it may be time to call in the professionals.  First you need to stop the leak and fix the source of water intrusion.  Next we need to assess what is wet and damaged.  Our professionals will measure the moisture content of structural materials such as; drywall, insulation, carpet and pad, baseboard, wood flooring, cabinets, furniture and ceilings.  We will then extract any standing water and begin the drying process with dehumidifiers and air movers.  This equipment usually runs 24/7 for 3-5 days depending on the material we are drying.  One of our goals is to dry structure before bacteria can begin to grow.
