Mold boards

Many times it's the water you don't see that causes major damage to your home.  A local home sits on a dirt floor crawl space with no ventilations to maintain a proper atmosphere.  One which has a lower relative humidity.  There was not a moisture barrier on the dirt to keep moisture in the ground.  the humid conditions allowed bacteria and mold to actively grow on the wood surfaces.  

The moisture can also come from leaking pipes and ground water intrusion.  If this should happen to your home...
