Fire Prevention

October is National Fire Prevention month.  This is a great time to change the batteries in your smoke alarms and see if you need additional alarms anywhere in your home.

SERVPRO of Berrien County is once again providing 1,000 smoke alarms to Berrien County Fire Departments.  From Niles to St. Joseph to Watervliet to New Buffalo.  Residents in need can contact their local Fire Department and request smoke alarms for free.  The Fire Departments will also install them for you in the right places.

With the help of Home Depot and Midwest Family Broadcasting-SERVPRO of Berrien County has donated more than 10,000 smoke alarms for residents over the past 14 years.  We continue this program so we can give back to a community that supports our Fire/Water/Mold restoration services.
