It's the water you don't see.

A local school recently had new cabinets with sinks and a heavy slate top become full of mold.  The water lines to the sinks sprung a leak and it was undetected until it soaked into the wood and spread across the floor.  Sometimes the water you don't see causes the most damage.

An Environmental Hygienist was called in for testing and provided a written protocol for remediation.  The cabinets had to come out! The water lines were disconnected, the top slate (1000 lbs) removed.  Then SERVPRO built a containment (first pic) for a safe work environment during demo.  Cabinets were removed and disposed of properly.  The floors and walls were santized along with all furniture and contents in the room.
